The participants of the 3rd Edition of Miss Trans Queen India 2019, sizzled at a photo shoot that was held today at Essel Tower Club, MG Road, Gurgaon. The total of 12 participants were treated to a professional photo-shoot who wore the glamorous and elegant collections designed by International Institute of Fashion Academy, Janakpuri. The Trans Women infused style & hotness quotient & displayed their talents & beauty at the event. These transwomen had come to participate from all over India including Mumbai, Chattisgarh, New Delhi, Bangalore, Udaipur, Kolkata, Chennai & other cities
The transwomen were taught on the nuances of make-up such as applying foundation, blusher, mascara, learning different styles of hairdos, walking the ramp with high heels, thus taking care of skin & fitness. Some of them also had enrolled for beauty & makeup academy and to worke in beauty parlours. The transwomen participants also frequently accessed YouTube and referred to the tutorial videos available. The transwomen shall be judged on their Skin quality, Body type, Etiquette, Intelligence in Q&As round etc.
The participants talked about their intense preparation with each of them undergoing intense training sessions by experts. The mentors & judges includes Anjali Gopalan – founder and executive director of Naaz Foundation, Celebrity Chef Manoj Rai – Zee TV Abu Dhabi, Rita Gangwani-pageant coach, Shaine Soni-ace fashion choreographer and celebrity stylist, Dr.Varun Katyal-celebrity nutrition and beauty expert and Dr.Prateek Sondhi-celebrity cosmetology and aesthetic expert, Ms. Simmi Harding – Director of Shorelight Education USA, Ms. Jacqueline Jindal- Director and founder of Garnet & Gold.

Speaking about the photoshoot Reena Rai, Founder of Deepa Ardnareshwar Empowerment foundation said,” We not only give platform to the Trans Women but we also provide them with required trainings & sessions by experts. This is a stepping stone to glamour industry as the winners will also be representing the country on an International platform like Ms. International Trans Queen”.
Some of the prominent winners of Miss Trans Queen India who represented India in an International platform includes well-known Naaz Joshi who had won Miss World Diversity 2019, Veena Sendre placed 8th position in Miss International queen 2019, who has joined congress in the year 2018, Namita Ammu as leading actress and will have her debut during October in Tamil Industry, Navya Singh – news makers achiever award & Best Trans Model 2019. Others walked the ramp at Couture Runway Week & few other trans woman participated in Bangalore Times Fashion Week.
The Grand Finale will be held on 3rd October, 2019 at Dilli Haat, Janakpuri, New Delhi.
